The German coach, currently under contract until 2027, is keen to continue leading the project and fulfil his ambition of managing the team at the renovated Spotify Camp Nou while challenging for the Champions League.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barcelona are equally satisfied with his work, although negotiations over a renewed agreement have yet to be completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lewandowski&#8217;s future, however, remains far more uncertain. The veteran striker will turn 38 in August and is entering the final year of his deal amid growing doubts over his long-term role in the squad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite scoring 18 goals in 42 appearances this season, the Polish forward is no longer viewed as an undisputed starter, while his salary remains one of the highest at the club. Any extension would almost certainly require a significant reduction in wages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the presidential campaign, Joan Laporta publicly expressed his desire for Lewandowski to remain for at least another season, though the club president has since avoided making definitive statements on the matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interest in the striker continues to grow elsewhere.
