The question now is what the Polish striker\u2019s future holds for next season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the rumours that has gained momentum in recent weeks is his move to the MLS, specifically interest from Chicago Fire. Well, their manager, Gregg Berhalter, has spoken clearly about the American side\u2019s intentions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I can speak frankly because he is no longer a Barcelona player, or won\u2019t be next week, and he is someone we want to sign,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Firstly, I don\u2019t think he doesn\u2019t have other offers. I find that hard to believe. I\u2019m sure a player of his calibre must have offers. As for our communication, we\u2019ve spoken a lot, both with him and with his entourage,&#8221; he confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, he highlighted what Lewandowski would bring to the team: &#8220;A player of such a high standard can only strengthen our team and increase its potential.
