The CTA considers that the Argentine won positioning over the defender and that, therefore, the referee made an error by not awarding the foul on the pitch. They backed VAR: it was a penalty and a red card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second was Kang-In Lee&#8217;s dangerous tackle. The committee cited &#8220;a twisting of the joint&#8221; with a &#8220;high risk of injury&#8221;. The CTA believes the action should have been punished with a red card and that VAR should have intervened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The third was the incident between &#8216;Cuti&#8217; Romero and Bellingham. The CTA referred to it as &#8220;a contested ball between two players&#8221;. They assessed that the Argentine stepped on Bellingham and that the referee confused who committed the foul.
