Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will miss the Serie A match against Udinese and, quite possibly, the following match against Genoa. The Georgian is suffering from a “low-grade ligament injury” in his right leg, damage caused by a tackle in his side’s last game against Lazio.
Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia suffered a ligament injury in his right knee in the Seria A match against Lazio.
“During Sunday’s match against Lazio, Kvaratskhelia suffered a sprained right knee. The player underwent tests which revealed a low-grade injury to the medial collateral ligament. He has already started the rehabilitation process,” Napoli said on social media on Tuesday.
The club did not specify recovery times, but the Georgian is expected to miss the upcoming league clash against Udinese and is in serious doubt against Genoa. He is likely to return against Venezia in his side’s final game of 2024.
