According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Nico Paz has given the green light for a move to Inter Milan next season. In fact, Javier Zanetti, the vice-president of the Italian club, is working on securing his transfer and was recently spotted dining with the player’s father and close friend, Pablo Paz.
Nico Paz’s future could lie in Milan. The attacking midfielder, one of the standout players at Como – six goals and four assists in 26 matches, is now firmly on Inter Milan’s radar. The Nerazzurri have been tracking him for months, and journalist Schira has even reported that Paz has agreed to join the Italian club.
However, it’s important to note that Madrid hold the key to his future. The Merengues have an agreement with Como that includes a buy-back clause worth nine million euros for 2025, a fee that will rise over the years if Paz stays with Cesc Fabregas’ side.
The journalist has indicated that Real Madrid are fully intent on activating the clause, although this could change due to Inter’s interest. The Milan club wants to sit down with Madrid to negotiate a deal for the player, aiming to strike an agreement that benefits all parties.
Javier Zanetti, the vice-president of Inter, is the one spearheading the pursuit of Nico Paz. He has dined with Pablo Paz, the player’s father, with whom he shares a deep friendship after being teammates in the Argentina national team.
Rumours have intensified, and it remains to be seen whether this meeting laid the groundwork for a potential move to Simone Inzaghi’s side.
