Napoli are nearing an agreement with Sevilla for the signing of Juanlu, having submitted a fresh official bid for the highly rated right-back.
The proposed deal is understood to be worth €17 million, to be paid over a four-year period.
Despite firm interest from Wolves and Everton, Juanlu has made it clear that his priority is a move to Serie A. The 21-year-old sees Napoli as the ideal next step in his career and is keen to make the switch this summer.
Talks between the two clubs are progressing well, with optimism on all sides that an agreement will be finalised soon. Napoli have made the Spanish defender one of their key targets as they look to reinforce their back line.
