Barcelona midfielder Pablo Gavi broke his silence after his unexpected knee injury that will keep him off the pitch for up to five months, promising that he will return stronger than ever.
Barcelona fans and Gavi himself were dealt a major blow when they recently learned that Gavi’s injury was more serious than expected and that he would therefore have to undergo arthroscopic surgery to fix his meniscus problem.
This would be another major blow for the Spanish midfielder, who will be sidelined for up to five months after already suffering a cruciate ligament rupture in November 2023 that kept him out of action for nearly a year.
However, this is just another bump in the road to success for Gavi, who has promised in a message on social media to come back stronger than ever after the operation.
“Those who know me know that I will return whenever necessary to defend Barca and my loved until the end. The true hero is not made in moments of success, but in those when he rises after falling… Thank you all for the messages of encouragement,” he wrote.
