Cristiano Junior continues to make strides in his footballing career. Cristiano Ronaldo’s son has been called up to the Portugal U16 squad for a tournament in Turkey.
Being the son of a footballing megastar is no easy feat, especially when you play the same sport and your father is one of the greatest of all time. The pressure that comes with the surname can often derail careers prematurely, but that doesn’t seem to be the case for Cristiano Dos Santos.
The son of Cristiano Ronaldo, the young footballer, who is currently in the Al-Nassr youth ranks where his father plays, has received a call-up to the Portugal U16 squad, having already featured for the U15s.
Cristiano Dos Santos leads the national set-up that will play in the Torno Copa Federacion between 30th October and 4th November, held at the Emirhan Sports Center in Antalya, Turkey.
There, they will first face Turkey (October 30), then Wales (November 1) and finally one of the continent’s major teams, England (November 4th).
