Regarding Joan Garcia, the coach stated that the youngster is evolving well and should return after the break, but not for the next match.
The performance of Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres also received praise. Flick highlighted the importance of both, mentioning that the last training sessions were among the best of the season and that Rashford had clear chances to score more goals. “I am very happy for them. They are important players for us,” he commented.
Regarding the absence of Pedri, Flick emphasized the importance of managing the team and valuing the collective: “The most important thing was to win, maintain intensity and pressure.
