Port Vale host Bristol City at Vale Park at 20:45 CET in a fourth-round FA Cup tie, after the match was postponed two weeks ago due to a waterlogged pitch.
Fifteen teams were confirmed as qualifiers for the fifth round of the FA Cup after the sixth round of the domestic cup was played two weeks ago. Sunderland are the only team that does not yet know their opponent, for one clear reason: heavy rain.
Port Vale vs Bristol City should have been played on Saturday 14th February, but heavy rain left Vale Park in such poor condition that a pitch inspection the day before deemed it unplayable, so the match was postponed until Tuesday 3rd March.
If Port Vale manages to eliminate the Championship team, they will only have four days to rest before returning to FA Cup action, hosting Sunderland, who secured their place in the fifth round after defeating Oxford United in the previous round.
The Valiants are not having a good season, sitting bottom of the League One table and having claimed just one victory in their last five matches, while Bristol City are sitting mid-table in the Championship, with two wins in their last five matches.
