The Bayern Munich chief has ruled out any negotiations for the French forward, responding to the speculation surrounding the Real Madrid president’s ‘galactico’ pledge.
Florentino Perez’s promise to lure a new “galactico” to Real Madrid continues to fuel the transfer rumour mill. One name linked by the English press was Michael Olise, a standout performer for Bayern Munchen, but the German giants were quick to issue a rebuttal.
In an interview with the newspaper ‘Bild’, Bayern president Herbert Hainer categorically ruled out an exit for the French forward. “Michael Olise is a Bayern Munchen player on a long-term contract; we are not a selling club,” the executive declared.
Hainer also directed a pointed message toward the ‘Merengue’ supremo: “If Florentino Perez is planning to submit an offer—which hasn’t happened yet—he can save himself the trouble,” he quipped. Having arrived from Crystal Palace in 2024, Olise is tied to Bayern until 2029 and is regarded as one of the cornerstone talents of the squad.
Conversely, Perez has already clarified that the Frenchman is not his mystery marquee signing. “It is not Olise; he is a great player, but it is not him. It is not Doku, it is not Haaland, it is not Kane…” he stated. The Real chief added: “On Tuesday, I will make a significant offer to a major Champions League side for a world-class player… He is a true galactico. But first, we will speak with the club,” he concluded.
