According to ‘TEAMtalk’, Paris Saint-Germain have made their stance on Warren Zaire-Emery clear by declaring the midfielder unavailable for transfer, dealing a significant blow to Manchester United’s hopes of signing the Frenchman this summer.
Manchester United are continuing to search for reinforcements as they look to build on the positive momentum from the end of last season, with midfield one of the main areas the club’s hierarchy is keen to strengthen this summer.
The Red Devils had identified Paris Saint-Germain’s highly-rated youngster Warren Zaire-Emery as one of their top midfield targets. The France international was seen as an excellent opportunity to raise the quality of United’s midfield and potentially form a formidable partnership with Bruno Fernandes.
However, according to ‘TEAMtalk’, PSG have made it clear that the 20-year-old is not available for transfer. Zaire-Emery himself is also reportedly not interested in forcing his way out of the French club, further complicating Manchester United’s hopes of bringing him to Old Trafford this summer.
PSG have therefore made their position on Zaire-Emery’s future perfectly clear. The Parisian club consider the midfielder a key part of their long-term project and have his future secured with a contract running until 2029, leaving United facing a major obstacle in their pursuit of one of their midfield priorities.
