FC Barcelona and PSG have reached a preliminary agreement for the transfer of Ferran Torres in a deal worth approximately €55 million.
Following intensive negotiations between the two clubs over recent days, the deal to take the forward to the French capital has been unlocked. ‘Sport’ confirmed the breakthrough on Tuesday night, revealing the key details of the operation.
The outlet reports that Ferran Torres will command a transfer fee in the region of 55 million euros, structured as 50 million fixed plus 5 million in add-ons. This significant financial injection will enable FC Barcelona to fund further reinforcements, such as Rodri Hernandez.
Although their opening proposal was rebuffed (40+10), the French giants only needed to increase their guaranteed bid by a further five million to seal the agreement. Pending official confirmation, Luis Enrique has secured a player he had specifically requested from the hierarchy.
