Italy’s coach speaks ahead of the clash, confirming the Azzurri’s mindset: “Anything can happen in a match”.
Italy head coach Roberto Mancini addressed ‘Sky Sport’ on the eve of the blockbuster encounter against France.
“It will undoubtedly be a great match as we are facing a fantastic team packed with extraordinary players. Nevertheless, we are determined to put in a strong performance and we will give it our all,” the manager explained.
Mancini made no secret of his ambition for victory: “When you face teams this strong, you never play not to win. It goes without saying that our objective is always to win. That must be our mentality, given that anything can unfold in a match.”
Finally, the coach touched upon potential squad selections: “We will assess a few players tomorrow during the final training session to gauge their recovery following the match in Bursa. We don’t have many reservations, but we will see tomorrow.”
