Barcelona’s blistering start in LaLiga is already causing concern in the Netherlands ahead of Feyenoord’s Champions League opener.
FC Barcelona head into their Champions League opener in imperious form, boasting a maximum 12 points from a possible 12 and 17 goals scored in four matches. According to ‘Mundo Deportivo’, the Dutch media have sounded the alarm for Feyenoord, highlighting the monumental task of facing a Barca side branded “almost perfect”.
A commanding 5-0 victory over Valencia has further heightened the praise for Hansi Flick’s squad, who are currently enjoying one of the finest starts in the club’s history. In fact, Barcelona have scored more goals across their opening four league fixtures in only two previous campaigns.
Feyenoord, however, will be buoyed by the return of key man Anis Hadj Moussa for the trip to the Spotify Camp Nou. The Algerian winger trained without any restrictions and is expected to travel to Barcelona for the European showdown.
