Pablo Torre landed in Palma on Monday to complete his move to Mallorca in the coming hours. He is set to sign a four-year contract, with the deal reportedly worth €5 million for 50% of his rights.
Barcelona’s Pablo Torre arrived in Mallorca on Monday morning to undergo a medical and sign a contract that will tie him to the Vermellones for the next four seasons.
The midfielder told the media that he is “very happy to be here, looking forward to meeting his team-mates” upon arrival at Son Sant Joan airport from Barcelona.
When asked why he chose Mallorca, Torre explained that it is a project he is “excited about” and one that he believes will be “very beneficial” as he “needs to play” after featuring sparingly for Barça last season.
After several weeks of negotiations between the two clubs, the transfer will finally be finalised for 50% of the player’s rights in exchange for a fee close to €5 million and is expected to be made official later today.
