Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr shared a story on Instagram in which he wanted to publicly apologise after his ex-partner Virginia Fonseca publicly stated that she had ended her relationship with the player after finding leaked chats between him and other women.
Vinicius has been making headlines, especially in the Brazilian media, in recent days after his ex-partner Virginia Fonseca publicly revealed that she is no longer with the Real Madrid winger after finding leaked chats between the player and other women.
After this was reported, the Brazilian winger finally broke his silence via an Instagram story in which he publicly apologised, admitting that he had “disappointed” her but also emphasising that they were not yet officially a couple.
“We all go through moments that make us reflect and grow. Recently, I experienced a situation that made me reflect and recognize attitudes that did not represent who I want to be or the kind of relationships I want to build. Virginia is an incredible woman, an admirable mother, and someone for whom I feel immense affection and respect. Since we met, she has come to Madrid three times to see me, leaving behind her routine, her commitments, and her life just to be with me. I met an admirable mother and an incredible partner,” he wrote.
“Although we were not yet officially a couple, there was a sincere connection. I am not ashamed to admit that I was careless, that I did not respond in the best way possible, and that I disappointed her,” added the Real Madrid forward.
“Therefore, I want to publicly apologize, with an open heart, because I understood that a true relationship only exists when there is respect, trust, and transparency. The idea now is to start everything anew. Without lies, without fights, without masks. With lots of love, affection, and respect,” he concluded on Instagram.
