Raphinha tackles speculation over his Barcelona future and underlines his value to the squad before the ‘El Clasico’ showdown with Real Madrid.
With ‘El Clasico’ looming this Sunday, Raphinha has opened up to ESPN Brasil about his future at FC Barcelona.
The Brazilian winger addressed mounting speculation over a potential summer exit. “Since I first arrived at FC Barcelona, there have always been rumours about me leaving. It feels as though a lot of people, especially in the media, don’t like to see me here,” he remarked.
Raphinha also took aim at journalists, accusing some of spreading misinformation. “The journalist who wrote that story has already published other lies, claiming I was undecided or had internal discussions about my future. These reports often omit important and relevant details,” he continued.
According to ‘ESPN Brasil’, FC Barcelona are considering selling a key player in the next transfer window to raise around 100 million euros. However, Raphinha remains highly valued by the coach and technical staff.
